Different information from EPFO regarding the amount lying in and transferred from IN-OPERATIVE ACCOUNTS. Information on Point Nos. 1, 2, 3 & 8 has been received today and is being shared.
1. Year wise amount (as on closing of each financial year during the last 15 years) under the head unclaimed/amount in inoperative account of EPF, 1952
2. Year wise amount (as on closing of each financial year during the last 15 years) under the head unclaimed/amount in inoperative account of EPS, 1995
3. What is the difference between unclaimed amount and amount in inoperative accounts in EPF Scheme, 1952 and EPS, 1995
8. Copy of the noting pages and related correspondence pages wherein this RTI application has been dealt from the date of its receipt till its disposal/dispatch of information.
Information on Sr. Nos. 4, 5 & 6 is still awaited.
Relates to Head Office Please provide me certified copies of the following information/documents point wise. Information regarding unclaimed/amount in inoperative account
1. Year wise amount (as on closing of each financial year during the last 15 years) under the head unclaimed/amount in inoperative account of EPF, 1952
2. Year wise amount (as on closing of each financial year during the last 15 years) under the head unclaimed/amount in inoperative account of EPS, 1995
3. What is the difference between unclaimed amount and amount in inoperative accounts in EPF Scheme, 1952 and EPS, 1995 .
4. In reply to unstarred question no. 428 in Rajya Sabah, on 20.11.2019, MoL&E had informed that 624009 member pensioners have expired from 1995 to till date. Such data must have been generated from the centralized/computerized MIS data of various ROs/ZOs. Please intimate me such number year wise during 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 (till 31.7.2020).
5. How much yearly amount has been transferred in the Senior Citizens Welfare Fund during the years 2016-17 to till date in compliance of Senior Citizens Welfare Fund Rules 2016 notified by the Ministry of Finance and by EPFO vide circular dt. 13.10.2017 (a) By EPFO (b) BY PF TRUSTS of various establishments exempted by EPFO
6. In reply to unstarred question no. 240 in Lok Sabah, on 18.12.2017, MoL&E had informed that the corpus in the inoperative account as identified in the Finance Act 2015 to be transferred to Senior Citizens Welfare Fund WILL BE USED FOR THE PENSIONERS OF EPS 1995. Please intimate the year wise amount spent on the Welfare of EPS 1995 pensioners during 2016-17 to till date.
7. Amount, if any, transferred from inoperative accounts to some other head/account, please provide year wise details of such transfer 8. Copy of the noting pages and related correspondence pages wherein this RTI application has been dealt from the date of its receipt till its disposal/dispatch of information.
