CBT after receiving the proposal of EPFO HQ,7, MoL&E had Granted Approval
After the approval by CBT, after receiving the proposal of EPFO HQ dt. 10.1.2017, MoL&E had granted approval vide letter dt. 16.3.2017 based on which EPFO HQ had issued a circular dt. 23.3.2017 for extending the facility of higher pension to all pensioners who had been contributing towards PF on their actual/higher salary.
Just for the information of new members, neither any approval had been sought by EPFO from MoL&E nor any approval had been granted by MoL&E to EPFO regarding the letter/interim advisory dt. 31.05.2017 issued by EPFO HQ to all field offices denying the said benefit of Higher Pension to pensioners from EXEMPTED establishments.
